Why does Oregon need OregonBuys?

This new modern system will capture information to help us better understand what the state of Oregon buys. We'll be able to use the information to identify areas where we can save money by negotiating better contract terms. OregonBuys will also automate paper and manual processes, eliminate dual data entry, and level the playing field for smaller vendors to be more competitive.
