Upgraded versions of Periscope S2G go beyond the Periscope network to encompass bids opportunities from nearly 100,000 agencies across the U.S. and Canada.
Why is Periscope S2G part of NJSTART?
NJSTART is powered by Periscope Holdings, the parent company for both ePro and Periscope S2G which services the public sector and the Vendors that work with public sector agencies. Periscope S2G is the bid notification service for Vendors and is an offering through the NJSTART registration process as Vendors are given the opportunity to create a Periscope S2G account during this process. Periscope S2G can be used for government opportunity notifications for public sector agencies within the exclusive Periscope Holdings network, expanding the opportunity pool for your business. Periscope S2G is affiliated with the overall NJSTART program through which registration is facilitated through the New Jersey website.
Should I be suspicious of Periscope S2G when I only registered for NJSTART?

How much does Periscope S2G cost? And why do I have to pay to do business with New Jersey now?
Periscope S2G does not have any required cost associated with it and to work directly with the State of New Jersey, a supplier is not required to pay for an upgraded plan. It is a free bid notification service in which Vendors can receive daily bid notifications tailored to their offerings and location criteria. There are optional Periscope S2G upgraded plans at the state, regional, national, federal, and military levels. These plans vary in cost but can range as little as $109 a month. The added benefit of upgrading to a paid plan is the expanded opportunity and access to government bid opportunities. By upgrading to a paid plan, in addition to receiving access to the Periscope Holdings exclusive agency network, we use advanced search and aggregation technology to check thousands of agency websites on a near real-time basis. With Periscope S2G, you know about new bids as soon as they are released. Through this technology, we are able to offer approximately 100,000 new government bid opportunities a month from over 100,000 actively monitored agencies.
How do I cancel Periscope S2G?

Why am I receiving emails about Periscope S2G? Am I supposed to sign-up for Periscope S2G?
You should not be receiving any emails to sign-up for Periscope S2G. As an NJSTART registered supplier you may already have an account for Periscope S2G if this was elected during the NJSTART registration process. If you elect to go in and activate your Periscope S2G account by clicking on the link emailed to you after registration, you will begin to receive daily bid notification emails detailing relevant bid opportunities based on the criteria you have provided for your searches.
